Circa 1802 ) Dec 30, 1824 in New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Lovettsville, Loudoun Co., VA The Werts (and other various spellings) is very well documented but the early Hoff and Adams are not. The Adams should not be confused with the English Adams family that were many in the area. The Hoffs/Huffs are also not to be confused with the Hough family although some records show that spelling. All these families are Germanic in origin.
