I too tied to reply to Margaret's email and it was returned, so here is my message: Margaret: Go to http://www.leesburgva.org/, click on services, click on library, and it will give you the information on the Balch Library which is a wonderful genealogy library with employees who will be very helpful to you. You can contact Mary Fishback there for more information if you need it - [email protected] You can click on "library resources" and/or "online resources" for more information. The cemetery database can be used to look up names to find where people are buried, and the Loudoun Discovered series can be used to find out if someone is listed in their index. You must view the books in the library or buy them (sold at the library or on line) to find out additional informa- tion. There are Holdens living here now, but don't know if they are your family.
