Hello again, Gary. You will note I am also copying the Loudoun Co., VA website, too, on my answer, (where you first encountered my posting perhaps?), for so many of our mutual family lines who came to the Muskingum/Perry/Hocking Cos.,OH area migrated directly from Loudoun Co., VA. First off, your SOLOMON STONEBURNER (b. 2 Feb. 1803..New Jerusalem Luth.Ch.Record, Lovettsville, Loudoun Co.,VA... who mar. 13 Sept. 1821 ELIZABETH FAWLEY, Muskingum Co., OH...d. 25 Jan. 1853, Newton Twp.Musk.Co.,OH) is the brother of my SARAH (SALLY ANN) STONEBURNER, b. 10 June 1809 (same as above record), d.. 8 May 1898 Perry Co.,OH; mar. 8 Jan. 1829, Perry Co.,OH, HENRY ANSEL. (Have the ANSEL family, too.). They were indeed the children (10 in all) of JACOB STONEBURNER & MARGARET HARSCHELL/HARTZELL, who mar. in Frederick Co., MD on 9 August 1798. JACOB, in turn, was s/o FREDERICK STONEBURNER, probably by unknown first wife (m. 2nd JULIANA COMPHER; 3) ELIZABETH RASOR). I have pictures of FREDERICK's very impressive homestead in Lancaster, Co.,OH, and information on their burial site, etc. I do have the names of the (9?) children of SOLOMON & ELIZABETH (BETSY) FAWLEY STONEBURNER, but not much on birthdates, nor spouses' names, where died/buried, etc.. Have you any data on them you can provide? Apparently you descend through their daughter, SUSAN, who mar. 1st? ZACHEUS MAUK (apparently died, 1845, soon after their mar. 17 November 1844.). Actually, if you wish to provide a mailing address, it would be far easier to copy some things off and send to you. These families intermarried so very much it is far too complicated to convey all their tie-ins via e-mail. Hope this helps somewhat...... and we most certainly are "cousins"!:>) Rosalie Lucas Hartinger Gulfport, Florida
Dear Rosalie Do you have any information on James W. Stoneburner, b 12/23/1847, d. 3/28/1920? He married my great grandmother's sister, Cordelia Caton, and they had a daughter, Cordelia "Minta" Stoneburner, b. 12/27/1873, all born in Muskingum Co. I have not been active the last few months in genealogy as my husband was very ill. He passed away last Sunday and I miss him so very, very much. Janice Gonzalez
