    3. Dottie, Have you seen this web page? http://www.barnumfamily.org/porter/ In looking at it, I cant find how to email the person who posted it. But perhaps you can figure out how to do so. Is it poosible that Philip Porter b 1706 is part of your line? Or one of his brothers? At least there is a Philip in the ancestry shown here, and that might be a good lead. I went to barnumfamily.org without the porter part, and then surnames and found this...which tells you to start looking in Maryland for the family of this Philip. http://www.barnumfamily.org/genealogy/getperson.php?personID=I01162&tree=barnum One never knows how a little info will lead them do a yes or no. I went to the http://www.barnumfamily.org/porter/ and printed off all the pages and will study them shortly. All records so far have only talked about my Porters being from VA. but I do not discount anything as they could have been in MD then VA.........or whatever. Thanks so much to whoever sent this.
