    3. Thanks, Pat. I found that record when I visited Loudoun County, but this other source insists there's a record for a Richard not a Robert. I wonder if it was incorrectly indexed? I guess I won't know until I go take another look for myself. Thanks again. Do I understand that you have a book with the "Index to Loudoun Co Va Land Deed Books A-Z, 1757-1800" by Pat Duncan: If I am correct, can you please check to see if you show any land records for Philip Porter. He was born in possibly Loudoun Co, VA abt 1754. I am hoping that perhaps he might have married and had land in the late 1790's.
