    3. Hello Gary, I don't know if this is your line, but I ran across a listing for Thomas Stone and Francis Stone, enumerated together on the 1772 Tithables list for Loudon Co. Additionally, the entry enumerates "N. Dick, Jem, Frank, Zucher, Moll, Lettice." I believe N. designated Negroes,(listers correct me, if I am wrong) and these people have no surnames listed behind the names stated. So, Thomas and Francis are listed as paying 8 tithes that year. On the 1774 Tithables list Part II for Loudon Co., Thomas and Francis Stone are enumerated together again. In addition, listed with them are: Robt Dales, "N. Jem, Dick, Lett, Frank [and] Moll." Again, they paid 8 tithes. Jacob Stone is listed on the 1780 Tithables list. I only have a few pages of tithables lists, so please do not conclude folks aren't on years not mentioned. I only have pages on which my Streetman family members occur. Good luck Heidi -----Original Message----- From: fuzzface <[email protected]> Sent: Jul 20, 2005 5:52 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [VALOUDOU-L] Stone family Hi I am new to the list and was wondering if anyone has any info on a Fielding Alexander Stone born in Loudoun County,Virginia March of 1815 died July 1896 in Guernsey County, Cumberland, Ohio.
