(WVA.) states: "John Kelly came from Loudoun in 1783------. 3) John & Elizabeth ASKINS & most of family relocated from Preston (now) Co., WV, to Muskingum Co., Ohio, in 1811 Does anyone have information on the Kelley/Kelly & Askins families of Loudoun prior to 1783??? Rosalie, I would like to explore the outside chance that my ancestors might tie to two of the names you mention.--Burgess & Berry. John DE BERRY (b. 1742 France/came "over the mountain from eastern Va." abt. 1790 to now Preston Co. WV Phillip or Lewis BURGESS GARNER (b. 1773 Louden Co., Va.). relocated c. 1800 to Garrett Co., Md. Many in those two counties moved on to Ohio in the time frame you are discussing.
