Before some people get confused with the email below ....... Charlotte Co was never part of Loudoun County. Loudoun County was created in 1757 from Fairfax County. Charlotte Co was created from Lunenberg Co in 1767. Loudoun County is in northern Virginia, while Charlotte Co is practically on the North Carolina border.
