I have a John Leven Powell b. 1804 d. 1863 son of the one I'm talking about that married Susan Elizabeth Orr. Born: Monday, December 24, 1804 Died: Monday, August 10, 1863 Documented Age: 59 years, 9 months Calculated Age: 58 years, 7 months, 17 days Cemetery: POWELLTON , AIRMONT I wonder, now you say she applied for her husbands Rev. Papers, did those papers state the name of his parents? I find it odd that his middle name would be Hayes when his mother's maiden name was Harrison. I have a few Harrisons and they all connected to the Powells and many Powells had the middle name Harrison. I am by no means saying my information is accurate and Jr.'s weren't necessarily the son but just a younger one named for an elder.
