Hi Larry.....sorry I hadn't been able to get back to you for a few days, but have been reviewing my large COHAGEN collection to see what I might have to help you learn more about the RUSSELL association. Actually, there are some early prepared graphs/charts of long ago that you might understand better than I, prepared by some RUSSELL/COHAGEN descendants. I will be glad to forward them to you to retain if you would care to supply a mailing address. One of the primary researchers of the COHAGENs (and associated families of Loudoun Co., VA) was a Dale E. Williams who stated that his wife was Laverna "Vernie" Mae RUSSELL WILLIAMS, and who in 1989 was residing in Glendale, AZ (602) 561-0709. Hopefully, someone in that family might be able to help you. And, quite likely, since he was so thorough with regard to the COHAGENs I rather imagine he did a lot of in-depth research on his wife's (and yours?) RUSSELL line, too. She was of that PLEASANT EMILY COHAGEN & JAMES RUSSELL (s/o MAHLON) line...about whom I wrote previously. Another who might have a great deal on the latter family (as she did on the COHAGENs in 1990) was Louise Ivers Ph: 515-244-3095, Des Moines, IA and also there was Patricia Bebernick, Sterling Heights, Michigan...only have a street adress for her, though, but the time period was about the same. Haven't heard from any of these in years, though, but can copy off for you what they wrote at that time if you can't contact them at this late date. Hope this will be of some help, Larry.
