Regarding Land Deeds : The following is all I know of my Samuel Russell: In 1754 Samuel Russell is mentioned in the deed [15] of Mahlon Kirkbride, his land being ... "corner to Samuel Russell." In 1755, Samuel Russell buys [16] part of the same tract of land that Mahlon Kirkbride had purchased. I have not discovered where Samuel obtained the land he had next to Mahlon Kirkbride in 1754. However, in 1753, John Hatcher had purchased [17] land next to Mahlon Kirkbride. Sarah Hatcher, the sister of John, is married to a Russell, and Samuel Russell is his neighbor. They all live about 2-3 miles east of the Goose Creek Church, in Shelborne Parish I am going to look at the Albert angle any clue how old Albert may have been at the time he & Melea transferred land.
