David, So, to add to what Pat Duncan told you, you might wish to contact the Clerk of the Court in Madison Co, VA to see if they have the marriage record, before you order anything from Loudoun Co Clerk. Each Va county webpage in usgenweb.com, (rootsweb) as well as other state's counties, give the Clerks's office address and quite often a phone number as well, and sometimes even an email address. Try to get a verification of where the marriage record is before you send money, then find out what that particular Clerk's office charges and requires from you. Good hunting.
