    3. Someone mentioned land disputes: The Benjamin Rust land was in dispute for years and years. But this land was near Upperville & Paris. (Closer to Upperville) I don't think that would be in the Cameron Parish area. However, parts of it extended into Loudoun Co, VA. He died 21 June 1834. I have this information, thanks to one of the List members. Oddly, these records were found in Frederick Co, VA archives. She so kindly sent the pages to me. Those involved with this controversy, which was not settled until after many of the "principals involved" (Benj's children) were dead: James & Sarah (Nee?) Rust Nancy & Uriah Glasscock Elizabeth & Jonathan Carter Katherine & Lemuel Hutchison Benjamin & Francis (Davis) Rust Sarah & Robert Latham (Sarah dsp) Emma & Stephen Hicks John Singleton Rust was a son; but he died unwed. He died 27 Jan, 1834; shortly before his father's death. Shirley Starks [email protected]
