Hi Marge, I am not putting SMFG down. What I meant to say is they do research. Other companies where you pay for testing gives you your results right away and access to matches. This is what you pay for as any other product you purchase. SMFG does research. They have started sharing their research with GeneTree. But it is different than paying a DNA company for specific testing on yourself or family members and expecting to receive specific results and matches right away. You can google and check out the different companies and see what is right for you. That is really the best thing to do. That way you know what to expect.
