There is also a line of the Presgraves family living in Page County, Va. that you may also want to check. I know nothing about the genealogy of the family or when they settled in Page County. -----Original Message----- From: valoudou-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:valoudou-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Marty Hiatt Sent: Saturday, November 24, 2007 5:34 PM To: Loudoun list Subject: [VALOUDOU] Presgraves Has anyone on this list researched the Presgraves family? In particular, I'm stuck on the family of Richard Presgraves who, I assume, died before 1870. His widow, Elizabeth A. (nee Palmer) was head of the household on the 1870 Loudoun census. I think the widow is Ann Presgraves, (1818-1893) buried in the Herndon Cemetery. If you know when and/or where Richard died, or anything about his children, please contact me off list. martyhiatt@wildblue.net Thank you, Ms. Marty Hiatt, CG Certified Genealogist and CG are proprietary service marks of the Board for Certification of GenealogistsR used by the Board to identify its program of genealogical competency and evaluation and used under license to the Board's associates. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The First Sunday in each month will set aside for a "Brick Wall" Roll Call.
