Greg, I found my William Downs. William died in Rockingham County, Virginia. I recieved a copy of his death certificate (they are online) via e-mail. Also a copy of his wife's. I knew it was him because I already knew who his parents are/were........ This took me 10 years of research to find this family member - as one would say - I am a happy camper today !
