In search of information on William Downs that was born about 1850....in Virginia.........as were his parents.........Willia,'s spouse was listed as Linnie M. Downs....they married in 1876....it was stated he lived in Broad Run District - Loudoun , Virginia. Know any Downs family members ? Anything sound familier? Anyone know rather there are Marriage records online or, death records from this area online? Anything would be of great help as well as greatly appreciated. Kindly Bea

Hi Bea, I have Downs in my database. Linnie was Linnie M. Dove, daughter of William Dove(1810-1871) and Elizabeth Whaley(1814-1885). She was born about 1851 in Loudoun County, VA. I list six brothers and sisters for Linnie. William was born 17 Mar 1850 in Loudoun County, VA. I do not have parents for him. I list eight children for William and Linnie.
