I have recently found that the minister who married my James FULTON and Mary NEWMAN in 1833 was affiliated with the Baptist Church. This is a little unusual since most FULTONs of this time period were Presbyterian. Therefore, if I can find a Baptist Church in the Loudoun Co./Prince William Co. area which has FULTONs on the membership lists, it may provide a lead in tracking down my James FULTON's parents and siblings. Would those of you who have such membership lists please check to see if there are any FULTONs. I did not find a marriage for a James Fulton to a Mary Newman in the marriage books covering that period. Did the marriage occur in Loudoun and who was the minister? No Fultons on the records of North Fork Baptist, Goose Creek Baptist (Fauquier), or Mt. Hope Baptist.
