I am interested in the book from the author standpoint. I don't think I have anyone mentioned in it, but if there were they would be Hutchison, Gordon or Rowan. I have Hutchison in my line of research from Loudoun County. That would be Agnes Hutchison who married James Rowan. Agnes was the daughter of James and Jane (Humphries) Hutchison. How long ago was this book published? The author was a Hutchison by marriage. Who did she marry? Thanks Pat. You always come thru for me. Yes, that was Mrs. Louisa Skinner Hutchison who wrote the book, published in 2000 by Willow Bend Books. Mrs. Hutchison formerly worked at the Courthouse in Leesburg. She still lives in Loudoun County but does not use a computer so she is not on the Internet. There are several Hutchisons so it would be best to be more specific in name or time period. The only Gorden and Rowan entries are: 7:109 14 Dec 1813 Charles GORDEN to William KING, to be a boot and shoe maker V:269 11 May 1802 Sally HUET, 3 yrs old 9 Jan 1802, to George ROWAN Pat Duncan GenNutLdn@msn.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "E&B Gordon" <redtop03@comcast.net> To: <valoudou@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, February 03, 2008 1:28 PM Subject: Re: [VALOUDOU] Apprentices, Poor Children & Bastards, Loudoun County,VA Lookup Request > I am interested in the book from the author standpoint.
