Hi, All! A first Sunday appeal here: Margaret (Warner) Saunders/Sanders (d. abt 1828) and Nicholas Saunders (d. abt 1798) are mysteries to me. Their grandson and my ancestor John Ruse (Sr.) (d. 26 Sep 1884) left money in his will to have a monument constructed: "I also wish fifty dollars to be expended in putting tomb stones to my grandmother’s grave, Mrs. Margaret Sanders, in Loudoun County near Lovettsville, Va.". Several Saunders children are mentioned in Margaret's will. Several of the girls are married to Coopers. But I have no information about Nicholas, Margaret, their parents, or their origins. I have no idea where the burial ground "near Lovettsville" where she is buried is. I'd love to know more about them. Thanks! Kathe (Katherine Ruse Richards)
