    3. Pat, The information you send about John Harle was extremely useful! Thanks! Now, I have one more request.. See if you have any information about Baldwin Harle, an orphan who was supposedly taken in by a man named Raleigh ? Chunn.. Chunn was supposed to be a merchant who traveled to Southwest Va. and TN between 1765 and 1800.. Thanks for any thing you can find! G. Lee Hearl Authentic Appalachian Storyteller Abingdon, Va.

    3. No mention of a Baldwin Harle in the Apprentices, Bastards, etc. book. I have abstracted only the earliest Fairfax County Order books, before 1760. I do have information from the Order Books beginning in 1783, but none from 1756-1783. Fairfax Co. Order Books - abstract on index cards: 23 Mar 1791, p. 413 - Baldwin Harle a witness for Sampson Trammell 2 days. Paid one pound to travel from Washington County 100 miles. A John Harle appears on several of these abstracts from 1783-87, with him as Plaintiff in suits for debts. >From the Fairfax Co.
