David named his children: John b abt 1770 Catherine "Catey" Mary "Molly" Nancy William James Elizabeth "Betsey" Sarah "Sally" Thomas b abt 1782 I have yet to find a naming pattern and only two youngest children named sons David.     3. If your talking about Thaddeus b. 1712, I doubt he was in Loudoun Co. I show he died in 1731 - 10 years prior to his wife Sarah Ellen Chinn who died in Lancaster Co. in 1741. IF this is the same Thaddeus you're talking about. The McCarty's and Chinn's were huge landholders in Loudoun Co. but think this Thaddeus at least pre-dated the ones in Loudoun Co.
