Thanks Pat, I believe he was married in Clarke but he was buried in the Goose Creek cemetery in 1875. I think his wife Lucy Boston/Bosteyan, not Emily, my mistake. Probably died soon after daughter Julia Ann was born. He is in the 1840 census with a female child and no wife. Later Julia Ann is living with her grandmother Juliet Boston/Bosteyan and is mentioned in her will. Julia Ann married my great grandfather James L. Carter and James was an executor to Juliet's will. James L. Carter married his first wife Mary Elizabeth Conard in Loudoun County in 1857, so I am seeing some travel back and forth from Clarke County by my James.
