    3. Hello.... Seeking help on this conundrum. In the Loudoun Co., Virginia deed books, there are a few deeds which refer to a marriage contract entered into 27 Oct 1843 between Sarah E. Chichester now Sarah E. Edwards, wife of Thomas W. Edwards. Apparently the marriage contract (which I did not copy) gives Robert L. Wright the authority to dispose of property for Sarah, the wife of Thomas W. Edwards. At one point, it appears Sarah Edwards uses the form of a deed to require Robert L. Wright to expedite a sale. Do any of you know reasons why a woman may have given this Robert L. Wright such authority? And also do any of you know of a connection between Chichesters, Edwards and/or Wrights? Thanks so much Lois ===== My personal website: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~virginiawesttooregon The complete database of our family history: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~familylibrary/ __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
