Fellow researchers: Is there any guide to the physical location of residents in the 1820 Loudoun Co., Virginia Census. That is, is it know if certain pages are the Waterford residents; certain pages are Leesburg residents or in what parish these people may reside. Thanks for any help you may be able to provide. Lois, Speaking for Waterford, I can say that in the margins of 397 and 416, which inexplicably are connected, that is written as the Waterford page ("with 482 inhabitants"!); I think another is shown as "Hillsborough" and another surely would be Leesburg(h). I don't think Middleburg was big enough at that time to warrant a town listing, but someone else could probably advise. Other names are simply listed, door-to-door, in small towns or out in the county. If you have particular names, certain families were localized enough that some list members could probably advise you where in the county they lived if you were to post them.
