    3. Seeking information about the Widow Mary Ball, mentioned in the land deeds below. I have found no record in the land deed books concerning the sale of this 1/4 acre to the Widow Ball. Was she a relative of John & Duvanner Binns? Who is she? Binns and Duvanner his Wife for and in Consideration of the Sum of three thousand and Sixty five dollars lawfull money of the United Stated to them in hand Paid by the Said Peter Sanders, the receipt where of they do hereby acknowledge, hath granted Bargained and in and by this, doth grant Bargain and Sell unto the Said Peter Saunders his heirs and afsigns forever a certain Trait or parcel of land situate laying and being in the County of Loudoun on the Beaver dam run being apart of a Tract of Land formerly held by the Earl of Tankerville - and Bounded af follows - Beginning at a stone near a Mark, White Corner to Henry Shorts lot and in a line of Reuben Hixsons land then with said line N69 W 134 po. to a pile of stones between a Black and White Oak corner to Sandford Ramey then with his line N 19 1/2 E 128 po. to a rock stone between Black and Ivory corner to Ramey and in aline of Thomas Davis this with Davis line S 75 1/2 E 148 po. to a sassafras corner to Davis then with another of his lines N 40 E 46 po. to a stone corner to Margaret Sanders then with his line S1 W87 po. to a stone in the road his corner and in Shawans line then with his line N 89 @ 44 poles to the Mills dam then up said dam with the meanders thereof S 66 1/2 W 11 po. then S 20 W 22 po. then S 8 E 24 po. then S 16 W 20 po. N 74 W 12 po. to a stone and red bud on a hill side corner to Shorts lot then with a line of said Lot N 70 W 14 po. to a stone his corner then with his line S 24 W 24 po. to the Beginning Containing one hundred and forty one acres - also one other lot nearby adjoining the above and adjoining the land sold to Henry Day and Joseph Smith and bounded as follows Beginning at a White oak corner to the lot sold Henry Day and corner to Reuben Hixsons, then with Hixsons line N 14 E 63 po. to a white oak corner to Hixson and in a line of Sanford Ramey then with Ramey's line N 69 W 38 po. to a pile of stones corner to Jos. Smiths purchase of Binns then with his line S 4 3/4 W 68 po. to a pile of stones corner to Henry Day then with his line S 74 1/4 E 26 po. to the beginning containing twelve acres and one quarter of and acre - Together with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appurtaining with the rent issues and profits there of. Tho have and to hold the said land and premises with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the said Peter Sanders his heirs and afsigns, forever and the said John A. Binns and Duvanner his wife for themselves their heirs Exrs. and admrs. doth hereby convenant and agree to Warrant and defend all and singular the land hereby conveyed unto the said Peter Sanders his hiers and assigns EXCEPT ONE FOURTH OF AN ACRE SOLD TO THE WIDOW BALL on the N.west corner joining the land of Sanford Ramey and Thomas Davis free from the claim of them the said John A. Binns and Duvanner his wife or any other person or persons whatever. The witness whereof the said John A. Binns and Duvanner his wife hath hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above written. Loudoun Deed 2T211: dated 13 Dec 1815 Peter Saunders and Ann sell to Cornelius Shawen for $5000.00, 12 1/4 acres, except one fourth of an acre sold to Widow Ball on the N.West corner joining the land of Sanford Ramey and Thomas Davis ... Loudoun Deed 4B:292: This Indenture made the 10 day of January eighteen hundred and thirty four Between Mary Ball of the County of Loudoun and State of Virginia of the first part and Ebenezer Grubb Jun of the County and State aforesaid of the second part witnefseth that the said Mary Ball for and in consideration of the sum of forty five Dollars Lawful money of the United States to her in hand paid by the said Ebenezer Grubb Jr the receipt where of she doth hereby acknowledge hath granded bargained and sold and by these presents doth grant bargain and sell unto the said Ebenezer Grubb Jr his heirs and afsigns forever a certain lot of land lying on the North West corner of the land conveyed by John A. Binns & wife to Peter Saunders as per deed bearing date of the 15th Day of April 1811 and recorded in Liber N N poles 470 reference being had thereto will more fully appear containing one quarter of an acre together with all and singular Pre appurtenances there unto belonging or in any use appertaining with the rents issues and propty there of to have and to hold the said land and premise, with all the appurtenances thereto belonging unto the said Ebenezer Grubb Jr. his heirs and afsigns forever, and the said Mary Ball for herself her heirs executors and administrators doth hereby covenant and agree to warrant and defend all and singular the lands hereby conveyed unto the said Ebenezer Grubb Jun his heirs and afsigns ? the claim of her the said Mary Ball or any person or persons claiming under her whatever.
