I am new to the list and am researching family who left Virginia and came to Kentucky in early 1800s. I have bits of information that include Loudoun County but nothing concrete. Specifically, I am searching for the parents of Beverly (male) Sullivan and his wife, Elizabeth (Betsy) Thornton and the parents of Elizabeth Hieatt/Hiatt who married 1st Caleb Pierce/Peirce and 2nd Caleb's brother Aholiab. I am on a wild goose chase. My biggest brick wall is Pierce. They supposedly came from Wales. On census records and in family lore my William Pierce was born in MA as was his son Nathaniel. Wm born in 2nd half of 1700s and Nathaniel in 1790s. They ended up in OH in late 1700s or early 1800s- Washington/Athens/Meigs Cos. Do you have any other kin for Caleb and Aholiab Pierce?
