Seeking ancestry of Andrew Thompson, who died 1792 in Loudoun Co., VA. he and his wife Penelope (surname not known) had at least three children, Lomax, Isaac and Andrew. Andrew the younger (b. 1763 or ¹64, probably in DE) married Elizabeth Vincel; they had at least 10 children, including my great-great-great-grandfather, Samuel B. Samuel B. Thompson married Sarah, last name probably Tribb(e)y. She in turn probably was the daughter of a Thomas Tribbey who apparently lived in the Middleburg area. There appear to have been a number of people by this name, possible siblings to Sarah, who also lived in that area. Many of Samuel's siblings, like Samuel, moved to Clinton Co., IN. I have Elizabeth Vincel's father as Adam. There are a variety of spellings for the name, which has links to Wenzel, apparently. Also seeking other descendants of these families.
