    2. Mary Anne
    3. I am still trying to find parents and descendants of Robert AMBROSE and Wife Sarah/Sally JONES. They were in Loudoun from Fairfax Co. before 1850. A daughter, Laura Ambrose, married James EASTON in Loudoun in 1848. In 1850 Loudoun Co. Census, Catherine BUTLER is in the household. In 1860 Loudoun Co. Census, members of the household were Emily, Darius St. John Ambrose, Marcus T. Ambrose, (died in Civil War) and William DIXON, age 70. How does he connect to Ambrose? In 1870 Loudoun Census, Robert is Living with daughter Emily AMBROSE . Sarah Jones Ambrose died Loudoun Co. 13 Aug. 1866. Any help will be much appreciated. Wishing all the happiest of New Years. 1. Re: [VALOUDOU-L] Roll Call: Burnes/Hardy
    2. Searching for info on: Thomas Burnes b. abt.1750 in Prince Georges Co., MD d. ? I know that Thomas lived in Loudon Co., Shelbourne Parish and Cameron Parish. I think that he went back and forth between VA and MD, as his younger brother, Frederick, married Barbara Hardy in 1793 in Loudon co., VA. Thomas served in the Rev War with his sister's husband, John Lewis. Barbara Hardy was born around 1773 in Queen Anne's Parish, Maryland. She is the daughter of Samuel Hardy and Fielder Dowden. Her father, Samuel died in 1773 and I'm not sure when her mother, Fielder, died, but can't find her on any census after 1790, so it's very possible that Barbara was living with a sibling in Loudon Co. Any info appreciated!! Barb Price

    3. Hi! If you are related to the HOLTZCLAW family, I may know of someone who was researching them. I will have to dig out my notes. My ALEXANDERs lived next to them, but I will have to look at my census records as to which county that was when I have more time. That is how I know. I will write when I have more time. Take care.
