    1. [VALOUDOU-L] RE: NICEWARNER/STAUBS
    2. G&M
    3. Hi, Would anyone happen to have any information on Mary Jane Nicewarner from Loudoun Co. who married Aaron Staubs from Jefferson Co. WV.? Mary Jane was on the 1860 census of Jefferson Co. Wv. living in the home of Brooks. I am trying to find out who Mary's parents were, and what connection she had with the Brooks'. I am also searching for any information on John Ingram who married a Mary Ann (we think her last name was French). Mary Ann & John Ingram had 1 son, John Washington Ingram in 1849, and possibly 1 daughter, Delila about 1845. John Sr. passed away sometime after John Jr. was born. Mary Ann Ingram then appears on the Jefferson Co. census in 1860 married to George Thomas Staubs with John Washington Ingram then 10, Delila 14, an older Delila Ingram 75 (born in Loudoun Co. Va.) Jonathan Ingram & wife, Margaret Linton, and a son by her new husband, George Henson Staubs. I have not been able to find any information anywhere for the older John Ingram, Mary Ann French, or George Thomas Staubs. John W. Ingram Jr. is buried as Staubs in Jefferson Co. Wv. I would greatly appreciate any help someone could offer. I have been at a dead end for quite some time now. I would also like to plan a visit to Loudoun County for research, can anyone suggest the best places to look for information? Thanks! Mary Glen Burnie,Md.

    1. Re: [VALOUDOU-L] Fry family of Lovettsville Loudoun County,VA.
    2. Marilyn I hope you are getting some information about your family. My husband had an uncle who married the daughter of your grandfather's brother George Butler Lewis Fry. Your grandfather's father was John Peter Fry born in 1833 and his father was Peter Fry born in 1797. John Peter Fry's wife was Amanda Miles daughter of Benj or Bery Miles and Rachel. All I know about Peter's wife is that she was named Sarah. Your grandfather Charles L. Fry had a son named Addie Leslie Frye who was born in 1911 and died in 1942 and is buried I believe in the Union Cemetery at the New Jerusalem Church in Lovettsville. Charles had another son Charles Clayton Frye who was born in 1920 and died a few days after his brother Addie in November of 1942. If you have any information that I can add to my records I would be glad to have it. Mimi Baker

Va. He would have been born between 1770-1775 he died between 7th Sept. and the 4th of Oct. 1845 in Licking Co. Ohio. It appears that he left Loudon Co. Va shortly after marrying I have his first son William born 14 Feb, 1817 in Licking Co., Ohio. He had several sons William, John, James, Calvin, George and Harrison. This has been a brick wall for a long time. I'm stabbing in the dark and hoping that maybe with his having named one of his son's Harrison, maybe there would be a place that he would fit. If anyone has a copy of the book that you all mentioned by Amelia Gilreath, maybe you would look and see if there is a Levi Jenkins mentioned. I am descendent from Levi's son John, but have a lot of information on all of his son's and daughters. After Levi died his son Harrison and wife and mother moved to McLean Co, Illinois, the other sons, William, John, Calvin and George all moved on to Missouri. Thanks for any help Linda
