    1. RE: [VALOUDOU-L] Jackson Family
    2. Mena Mead
    3. One of our members asked about the Dornon and Parker marriage and information on their parents. I checked all kinds of spelling and could not find their marriage in Loudoun for date stated in either Wertz or Jewell and no mention of a family will. I deleted their inquiry by error. 2. Rena Worthen
    3. I doubt the census will be free at ancestry, NOTHING else is any more. On a happier note, I have 1810, 1820, 1830, 1840 Botetourt County 1900 Bath, Bland, Botetourt and part of Bedford 1920 Augusta and Botetourt in order to do a lookup, i will need the page # you require, and the full name of the person you need. Any request should be sent to me directly at doreatr@rbnet.com Please put CENSUS LOOKUP year & county in the subject of your request. Only 2 request per person please. Any request with just a surname or without the census page, will not be answered. Rena

    3. A while back someone was looking for Fort Loudoun, VA where children were born. Sorry I cannot figure out who it was or how long ago. I just ran across a reference to it on the Frederick County page: "Fort Loudoun was built here by Colonel George Washington in 1756-57". So perhaps you should be looking in Frederick Co, VA.

    2. I have found the Ancestry census to be a great source and well worth the cost. I usually right click and save the image or sometimes just bookmark the page. Not all the images are too great but usually still readable. 3. The census records on Ancestry are invaluable. I couldn't work at all without them. You have to zoom in to read some of them but that would be true if you were looking at the microfilm too. It is worth every penny to have them.
