I still have all the data you sent me and I'm still keeping my eyes open for him but I've just not found him. And, in the interim, my entire ADAMS line took a major left turn. Some of it turned square into Loudoun County. I have a copy of the ADAMS data from the Tavenner Collection at Balch Library. Much of the ADAMS portion in the Tavenner Collection does not have parental info. Are your Adams related to any Magaha, McGaughey, McGaha, or similar? I think I saw where a Mary M. married a David Adams early 1800's. I'm trying to tie a Patrick and Benjamin Magaha (McGaha, McGaga) who paid taxes in Loudoun Co. in 1770's. I believe them to be ancestors of my ancestor Isaac Magaha, b 1813, Loudoun, but I can never connect him to a family "for sure." According to the 1880 census, John Woolf was a "Preacher of the Gospel," living in the Mt. Gilead district. He performed numerous marriages in Loudoun from mid-1865 to around 1891.
