    2. ADAMS & WEBB
    3. Hi, Marilyn: All he has on this specific Peter Adams is: Peter A[dams] [1807- ] to Lydia [1824 - ] lv. Rehobath vc Sorry, no parent info for either. I see several ADAMS that say lived in Rehobath vicinity. Is there a spot name Rehobath or something similar in Loudoun County? He does not reference a different state, just what looks like "Rehobath". Sorry there wasn't more info for you. 2. ADAMS & WEBB
    3. Carol and other Loudoun ADAMS hunters: Carol, we've corresponded numerous times in the past and I have not forgotten your William ADAMS. I still have all the data you sent me and I'm still keeping my eyes open for him but I've just not found him. And, in the interim, my entire ADAMS line took a major left turn. Some of it turned square into Loudoun County. I have a copy of the ADAMS data from the Tavenner Collection at Balch Library. Much of the ADAMS portion in the Tavenner Collection does not have parental info. Of course, this Collection is not a sure-fire source for 100% documentation but is useful for hopefully steering one in the right direction. Regarding William and Nancy, it reads: Wm. A[dams] m. 1816 Nancy Robertson. That's it. No parental info on either one. With reference to McGaha, the entry states: Henry A[dams] - then unreadable text - m. 1836 Mary McGaha [1817?-1842] dau. to David M[cGaha] m. Priscilla [1806-34] There is no indication of parents for Henry Adams or David McGaha. From what I'm seeing, there must be at least three distinct lines of ADAMS in Loudoun County. My line descends from Abendengo ADAMS of Fairfax Co., originally from Charles Co., MD. who's sons move into Loudoun. There is also a Gabriel ADAMS line that is also from Fairfax but I've not yet been able to connect them to the Abendengo line. Then there is the Wilhelm ADAMS line. Carol, let me know when you come to Leesburg. I'd love to meet you at Balch and maybe we could make some headway on these early ADAMS and figure out who begat who. 3. Dear Gaylier: I noticed on the Loudoun Website that an Edward Adams elathayer@usa.net had posted many queries concerning the Adams-McGaha connection. I checked his queries and he has not been active since the summer of 2001. Perhaps there is information available to you through his queries that are located there. I went to the Loudoun queries and did a search on McGaha and found some information. My Adams have been a real challenge. 3. Are your Adams related to any Magaha, McGaughey, McGaha, or similar? I think I saw where a Mary M. married a David Adams early 1800's. I'm trying to tie a Patrick and Benjamin Magaha (McGaha, McGaga) who paid taxes in Loudoun Co. in 1770's. I believe them to be ancestors of my ancestor Isaac Magaha, b 1813, Loudoun, but I can never connect him to a family "for sure."
