    3. Susan, Thanks very much. Your hard work is really appreciated. Judging by the McCarty names here in Frederick Co, some are probably relatives that I haven't yet placed. Since there are so many in Fauquier, I won't ask you to send those now, but if I get a further lead into Fauquier, I may get back to you. 1. Re: [VALOUDOU-L] William Tarleton Taylor 1759 Loudoun County, Virginia
    2. Ray, Thank you for being specific. I have found a William TAYLOR mentioned in two places in my book called, "The 1787 Census of Virginia." It states the following on page 290. Fauquier County Personal Property Tax 1787 - List "C". "TAYLOR William (Charged with tax was James BARTON) 0 0 0 2 7." It states the following on page. A regrouping of taxpayers by date called upon - as a means of identifying neighbors. "03/26 TAYLOR, William" Then it states the following in my book called, "Fauquier County, Virginia Marriage Bonds: 1759-1854 and Marriage Returns: 1785-1848", three mentions of William TAYLOR. I don't know which one is yours, so I'll give them all to you. On page 72: "FRENCH, Burgess & Priscilla TILLER, apr. 27, 1807 - bdsm: Wm. TAYLOR" On page 101: "HOWELL, John & Elizabeth TAYLOR, Dec. 1, 1810 - bdsm: Wm. TAYLOR" On page 184: "SMARR, Reuben & Nancy TAYLOR, Nov. 14, 1809 - bdsm: d/o William T." Then there is a William Robertson TAYLOR in my deeds book. That's it for Fauquier County! I hope this helps in some way. Let me know if you would like anyone else researched! Susan:)

    1. [VALOUDOU-L] Look-up / Fox
    2. Jerry Fox
    3. Hello Susan, Well, I hope I'm doing this right! I have information on the marriage of Amos or (Thomas) Fox married to Mary Hutchi(n)son in Louden County, VA (I believe Cameron Parrish) in 1795. This "Amos Fox" may very well be the one who died in Boone County, KY circa 1835. If it is, then he may be the father of my ggg grandfather, George W. (Washington ?) Fox. I believe George W. may have had brother's in Boone County, KY in the 1830's...Amos and Asa, as well as a sister, Sarah. I am trying to link the Boone County, KY "Fox's" with the Amos Fox and Mary Hutchi(n)son of Loudoun County, VA. Would you have any way of finding any of the children born to Amos Fox and Mary Hutchi(n)son? Thank-you for any information that you could provide. Have a great day, and God's blessings to you and yours. With kind regards, Herman Jerry Fox email address: crazyocoot@yahoo.com or jfox@ccrtc.com

    1. Re: [VALOUDOU-L] I am willing to...........Fauquier Co.
    2. Tootsie, I don't know if you need this one, but there is a James WHITE listed in my, "Fauquier County, Virginia Deeds 1759-1778", on page 201. "Pages 458-462. 16 December 1777. Lease & releas. Bet. Wm. GRIGSBY & Elizabeth, h.w. and John GRIGSBY of K.G. Co. .. tract in counties of Fauq. & Staff. and upon head branches of Aquia .. Markham's line .. cor. to Tobias WOODS land .. There are two mentions of James WHITE in my book called, "Fauquier County, Virginia Guardian Bonds 1759- 1871". This maybe later than what you need, but I'll give them to you anyways. It states the following on page 97: "Charles M. GIBSON, apptd. gdn. of Augustine M. WHITE, James A. WHITE, Ann Eliza WHITE and Obed M. WHITE orphs of Obed M. WHITE, dec'd, "& who are now residents of Virginia." 26 January 1852. For $4,000. Sec: John J. ASHBY." It states the following on page 24: "William BRADFORD, gdn. of Nancy and Armistead WHITE. orphs. of James WHITE Jr., 20 December 1812. For: $800. Sec: Wm. TOMLIN, Joseph Tomblin MINTER. J.P.: Wm. WITHERS, Whiting DIGGES, Asa HUME, James MORGAN, Gent." The last book that I have is "Fauquier County, Virginia Marriage Bonds: 1759-1848", mentions James WHITE twice. The first mention is on page 123. "LEITCH, Elijah & Sarah WHITE. Nov. 21, 1809. - bdsm: d/o James" The last mention is on page 140 of the same book. "MINTER, Anthony & Judith PENDLETON, Dec. 18, 1792 - bdsm: James WHITE" There are also six mentions for James WHITE in my 1787 census book for Fauquier County. Please let me know if you would like each of the entries. I hope this helps! 1. Re: [VALOUDOU-L] I am willing to do look ups in my books.
    2. Cindy, I have a BEATTY family listed in a census record, and for marriage records, and again for Wills and Administrations. I do have in my marriage book for Frederick County the following marriages on page 287: "BEATY, Elizabeth & Porter KELLER 18 Nov 1804; min- John B. TILDEN Esther & Eli MILLS 4 May 1793; b- David BEATTY Frances & William SWART 27 Dec 1823; b- Wm BEATY Frances & William SWORTS 30 Dec 1825; min James WITHERS" Then I have a Henry BEATY mentioned in the 1787 Census of Virginia under Frederick County. It states the following on page 523: "BEATY Henry self 1 1 1 2 2". It states the following again on page 538 under, "Winchester Town. A regrouping of taxpayers by date called upon- as a means of identifying neighbors. 03/19 BEATY, Henry". That's all I could find this way! Let me know if you would like anything else looked up.
