    1. Back on the List - Researching BRADEN, JENNERS, others
    2. I just signed back on the Loudoun list after being off for a year (or more?). Thought I'd do a quick post to mention the lines I'm interested in. BRADEN JENNER(S) STEVENS or STEPHENS These are the main lines of interest in Loudoun but I am also interested in related lines and the families in the Waterford area pre-Civil War. Glad to be back. 3. Pat Duncan, Thank you for your prompt answer that Philip Porter was not mentioned in the land deeds from 1757-1800. I am continuing to try to find Philip Porter's parents so I am asking and recording whatever I can find as we have information that he was in Loudoun Co, Frederick Co, and also something about Fairfax Co, VA. Thanks again. If anyone comes across "anything" about Philip Porter b. abt 1754 married Nancy Ann Brent daughter of Charles Brent of VA. I would be so appreciative for any bits of information. 3. To All, Is there anyone out there that can answer a question for me? Why on some of the census records does it list woman that should be married as "Spinster"? I believe I was looking at the 1860 Scott Co., VA census, but I have seen this term used on other census records. The people I was looking at were suppose to be married and had several children. 3. For Marty, Good for you! You are making us use that computer we are born with, and it sometimes is better than the one on which we type our queries and family histories. And you also make the world a better place to live in with your humor! Do you "do" logic problems? Thank you for sharing, and happy holidays.
