Hello All, Please let me apologize for the additional email tonight. I, as a list admin, try to abstain from sending "extra" email. In this case I think it is justified. Through the generosity of the Wise County Historical Society and the editor ((Ms. Rhonda Robertson) of their publication, the "Appalachian Quarterly", I have been given permission to post the first five parts of the "Gateway to the West" series as well as the sixth part I posted tonight. I felt that the information was of such importance to potential researchers that I have worked non-stop since getting the permission at 11 pm tonight, to create an index page, convert the articles to HTML format and get them posted tonight.
