Margaret, I think this Sarah Sprinkle may have been a daughter of Ira Goff Sprinkle. Franklin Sprinkle & his 2nd wife Julia Ann Burgin had a son Henry B. Sprinkle b. Aug 1864. He was their eldest. The other posiblilty is that her stated date of birth is wrong then she could be a daughter of Franklin Sprinkle & his 1st wife. I only keep the descendants of Julia Burgin Sprinkle. J. B. Hi there: Thank you for your response. I don't believe that Ira Sprinkle had a daughter named Sarah. Franklin Sprinkle did have a daughter named Sarah; she was b. 15 Nov 1862 and married David Hoover. The interesting thing is that this Sallie Sprinkle Ingle indicates on both the 1900 & 1910 census that she was born in KY and her father was born in VA, mother in KY. Here's the 1900 census entry again, plus the 1910, which I just found.
