Is there anyone one the list able to look up marriages in Lee and/or Scott counties around 1847-1849? I need the date and any other information about William N. Marshall that married Sarah E. Thompson. I am also looking for clues as to the families of origin of the above couple. I have reason to believe that Sarah is part of the Thompson clan from Lee & Scott counties that are descendants of William Thompson & Elizabeth Starr Thorpe. Naming patterns of William, Elizabeth, Sylvanus, Alfred, Mary, Sarah, Benjamin Franklin, & Jackson etc run through most of these families for several generations :) - makes sorting them out challenging, to say the least!
