Hi Barbara, Yes, I remember all the help you gave me, Thanks again! I was not able to afford the DNA as by the time I got moved back to AZ, i was in bad shape! My left side went numb, Yes i am typing one handed, I was having pain also so my family took me to hospital, luckily it was not a stroke or heart attack! It is my spine and I will have to have spinal surgery.i bring this up again as this is something i have had since young and alot of the family has it to a small degree, so i have always wondered where in the families this comes from as I am 49 and nearly crippled from the extreme arthritis? Well enough of that!!! I am begining to think that maybe Lewis/Louis might have been a middle name, as there is no doubt that Lewis Thompson has a connection to Lee Co. VA. A cousin of mine who is also working on the Thompson's, has come up with the idea that Lewis belongs to the James Mims Thompson family. Evie, I am sorry for your extreme infirmity. Our Thompsons have heart trouble including me. I guess every family has some kind of affliction. We have the arthritis on our Lewis family. That is why I was trying to see if your Thompsons were related, but seems they are not. Hopefully you will find someting through this James Mims Thompson information.
