Orville, I just happened to see your post and took a quick look on Heritage Quest census records. You didn't indicate what years they lived in Harlan Co., KY or Lee Co., VA so I just looked at all years that they have online. I found a William Pope in the 1910 and 1920 Harlan Co., KY census. I did not find a William in any of the Lee Co., VA census. I don't know if the William in Harlan is your or not, but this is what I found: 1910 Pope, William M., Head, 22 yrs. old Lula, Wife 21 yrs. old Marvin Son 1 3/12 yrs. old 1920 Pope, William, Head, 33 yrs. Old, Lula, Wife, 32 yrs. old Marvin, Son, 11 yrs. old Does this help?
