I have just spoken with my contact person in Lee County. He informed me that Lee County Supervisor, Claude Ray, has been involved and has managed to temporarily deny property owners, Joey Cooper & absentee owner, Dick Jones of Texas, from denying access to the Robinette Cemetery. My contact also stated that two young men had ridden some sort of four wheel off-terrain vehicles through the cemetery and have damaged some headstones. He suggests that we contact Supervisor Claude Ray to have "access in perpetuity" clause added to all future dealings with this situation. I have a phone number for Supervisor Ray if anyone is interested, contact me privately, & I will provide the number. What is of grave concern is that anyone would think they could come into a community & deny access to numerous families to the graves of their loved ones, though they be ancestors & not necessarily immediate family.
