I am looking for information on the wife of Wiiliam Sturgill (born abt 1833, VA), Francis Mullins. She is listed with him on the Wise Co. 1860 Census as being 26(or 23) years old, so born abt. 1834 (or 1837). The children listed in 1860 are: Nancy, age 8; Andrew, age 6; James, age 4; Sarah, age 3; Calvin, age 1. Also, listed in their household is Eliza Mullins, age 30, occupation: seamstress. Under her name is James, age 4. All are listed as having been born in VA. I am trying to verify that Francis was indeed a Mullins. One source states that she might have been a Boggs. I have not been able to find anything on her ancestry using either the Mullins or Boggs surname. If anyone has any information regarding her I would appreciate hearing from you.
