    1. [VALEE] Hall/Hash
    2. Needing some help with my Hash research on a daughter of "Old" John Hash. The following is what I have Lee Hash Culpeper, Virginia Mary “Polly” Hash, daughter of "Old John" Hash and Mary Horton, was born in about the year 1752 in Maryland. After the arrival of the John Hash family on Bridle Creek, she married John Hall who was said to have been born in about the year 1751. After their marriage (date unknown) they first settled near the Forks of The New River in what is now Grayson County then moved to Ashe County, North Carolina. Sometime in 1805 they removed to Lee County, Virginia. Their children were: John Hall Jr. born 7/15/1776 married Elizabeth Wiseman; Richard who was listed in the will of Old John Hash 5/22/1784 and was said to have married Anne Osbourn; Thomas Hall married Patsy Pennington 8/1/1833 and remained in Lee County. We find a Sarah Hall who married Thomas Carrell 8/13/1834 in Lee County and a John Hall who married Sarah Wells 12/26/1833 in Lee County. Many years ago I remember reading that Sarah Hall was placed in the care of the Sheriff and her only possession was an old clock. **************Get the scoop on last night's hottest shows and the live music scene in your area - Check out TourTracker.com!
