Rootsweb has a virus list - virus-l@rootsweb.com. This read me and .pif are viruses - If I am not mistaken, it is the virus that changes the subject line, attachment name and extension, so it is very hard to detect. This list is very informative and I believe it is a must for anyone who received a lot of mail such as we do from fellow genealogists. So far my anitvirus picks up on everything, including [according to a user of Norton] some that Norton and McAfee have missed lately - and it's free!
