Seeking descendants of these Rogers who lived in Lee Co. even after the formation of Scott Co. Doing a profile on the Rogers to establish families. Some of these people might have lived in Hawkins Co. sometime in their lives. I am interested in the suit between the descendants of Joseph Rogers and the family of William Roberts which took place over a 40 year period. Active participants at the beginning were Susan (Shue???) Rogers, widow of Joseph Rogers, and her second husband, James Walling against William Roberts. The suit was begun again with the children of Joseph Rogers filing against the children of William Roberts ca 1842. Believe the final reference was ca 1856. I am interested in the family of Adenston Rogers that moved to Pulaski Co. KY ca mid-1850's. They were supposed to have gone to Lincoln, but I have found the two sons in Pulaski in 1860 & 1870. Where is Adenston? I am interested in the family of Adenston Rogers b. ca 1760's who married Margaret (Robinett??) and moved to Clay Co. KY. Probably before 1820. Later moving on to IN. Is he the son of old Doswell Rogers b. 1736? Is he the Adenston who witnessed the Doswell deed in 1792? I am interested in the family of Elisha Rogers. I believe that this Elisha was a bro of the Joseph mentioned above. Need more details about this man and his family. Thanks. Eleanor
