Blanton b.abt 1860 who has a brother named George b.abt 1854. Their father was John Blanton who was b. abt 04/1832 in Lee County, VA and married an Almelda ?. John died 08/18/1867 in Wise County, VA. I have no other information on John and my question is could my John be a brother to your James and George? Do you know if they had a brother named John who was born in Lee County? Or possibly he is a brother of your James Henry? Lori, The John Blanton you mention is the s/o William & Elizabeth Gilly Blanton. He was married to Almeda Huff on 20 Mar 1847. This is a different family than mine. Could you give me the children of John & Almeda? I have Catherine,b.2 Jul 1847, Elizabeth,b abt. 1848, William,b.abt. 1850, George,b.abt. 1853, Jesse,b 27 Oct 1856 and John. I didn't have James. Thanks! The George, s/o John & Almeda was married to Arra Hunsucker. John, s/o John & Almeda m.Alice Rhendy. I don't have spouses for the rest of the children. My birth date for John is different than yours, I have 9 Feb 1828 Lee Co. VA. and d.18 Aug 1867 Wise Co. VA. Almeda was b.abt. 1830.
