Is this the same Martha Jane Myers that married James P. Smyth? Is the Rebecca Smith you mentioned James Smyth's daughter? Vanette, Nice to hear from you again. I didn't know about the Hobbs/Myers marriage. The age is about right for my Martha Jane Myers. Do you have anything more on her? I will post George Cole's bio in another message, it mentions the Myers and Smiths, intersting info. All I have on the Smiths I picked up from others. It is not my direct line. Jack Money on rootsweb has Edward and Hannah with eleven children. I believe Rebecca Smith is the daughter of Edward McDonald Smith/Smyth and Minerva Parson, see the census below. Barbara. .
