    2. Someone wrote...The marriage book (1845) says the woman is Jershua Riggs, but her own son's birth certification says Jershua Ridge. I tried to use the census to solve the problem, but I find that marriag, birth and death records only prove that someone has at one time lived. They are not always accurate..but close. It depends on who the person that gave the information and exactly what they knew. On my mother's birth certificate her father's name was written wrong. Yet I know what his name was. Mine was spelled wrong and my mother had it fixed. They just crossed out Elladine and wrote over the top Elladean<<< the correct spelling. Milly WARD Piros GOD BLESS AMERICA !
