My father's parents were from Claiborne Co. My father was killed in the coal mines in 1945 (when I was 9) and we lost all contact with my grandparents. Can't remember Grandpa Brooks' name, but Grandma was called Neely, I think. It sounds like there is a connection. I remember one uncle whose name was Ira. Thanks for the info John Brooks
