Hi Colleen: I think we're all glad to know we have an Administrator at last. Welcome! Could you please post to the List and introduce yourself so that we can learn a little about you and about your Lee Co. families/interests. One thing that seems very important to many of us is that you set up the List so that when someone clicks "reply" to a post that the reply goes back to the List. (Should anyone chose to send a private message, they can always do that; but the response to the List should be the default.) Something I think would be nice down the road would be to have a "roll call" so that all the subscribers to the List can introduce themselves during a given period of time. That has been done very successfully on several other lists to which I subscribe. You are going to be very pleased with the new administrator. I'm on another list she handles and there is activity, interest and information that flows regularly. One way to help her is to participate. I have just recently joined this list as I just recently found that this was an area our families lived or moved through. But even in the short time I have been on it I noticed very little activity. Now is our chance to make this a great list. After all this county is so full of history and many people have connections with Lee Co. Thanks Colleen for taking this list.
