Hi Phyllis: My daughter and I visited the court houses in Lee Co., VA & Claiborne Co., TN last summer, and we stayed at the Days Inn in Middlesborough, KY. It was built in the late 1990's and was nice. Plus, it's convenient to Cumberland Gap and you can do some sightseeing while you are in the area.
